The 75th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival has announced its dates, set to take place from February 13 to 23, 2025. Notably, this marks the festival's first edition punder the new director, Tricia Tuttle, who takes over from Carlo Chatrian and Mariette Rissenbeek.

In the final stretch leading up to the announcement of the Oscars winners, Kawther Ben Hania's project, alongside a curated selection of international projects, has been chosen for the second edition of Seriesmakers, a collaborative development program for television series between Series Mania, Europe's largest TV festival, and Beta Group, a prominent European film and TV production company.

Cost-effective Measures: Ismailia International Film Festival Cancels Closing Ceremony, Opts for Press Conference

The management of the Ismailia International Festival announced the conclusion of the 25th edition of the Ismailia International Festival for Documentary and Short Films, chaired by the film critic Essam Zakaria. This will take place today, Tuesday, March 5th, at 5:00 PM in the Grand Hall of the Tolip El Forsan Hotel. The administration decided to replace the closing ceremony with a press conference to announce the awarded cinematic works of this edition, as a cost-saving measure.
