The 75th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival has announced its dates, set to take place from February 13 to 23, 2025. Notably, this marks the festival’s first edition punder the new director, Tricia Tuttle, who takes over from Carlo Chatrian and Mariette Rissenbeek.

In the previous edition, the Tunisian film ” who do i belong to” by director Miryam Joubour and the Mauritanian film “Black Tea” by Abderrahmane Sissako were part of the official competition. The Lebanese director Mariam El-Hajj presented “Diaries from Lebanon” in the Panorama section, competing for documentary film awards.
