The Malmo Arab Film Festival will be honoring the Egyptian director “Kheiri Beshara” for his overall contributions to cinema. The tribute will take place during the opening ceremony of the fourteenth edition, scheduled to be held between April 22nd and 28th in Malmo, Sweden. Beshara has also been selected to chair the jury for the feature films competition. Joining him on the panel are Palestinian producer and director Mai Masri, Saudi film critic Dr. Mohammed Al-Bashir, Tunisian actress Souhir Ben Amara, and Emirati director and producer Nahla Al Fahad.

As for the short films jury, it includes Palestinian actor Ashraf Barhom, Moroccan journalist and director of the Casablanca Film Festival Fatima Al-Nawali Azar, and Iraqi director Ali Kareem.
