Prominent figures form the jury panel at the Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival

The Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival has announced its jury panel for the 29th edition set to take place from 27 April to 04 May,2024.

The 2 jury panels comprise eminent figures.While the feature film jury includes the french actress Guslagie malanda, better known for her role in “Saint Omer”, the italian screenwriter Silvia Scola, the french-moroccan director Simone Betton and the romanian Director and screenwriter Radu Milahneau alongside Elia Suleiman, the president of the panel.The Mustafa Al-Masnawi Criticism jury consists of the Tunisian journalist Shadia Khdhir, the Moroccan critic and academic Rashid Naim, as well as the critic and specialized journalist in Spanish cinema Francisco Greenian.

It’s notable that this year’s special guest will be the Moroccan director Fawzi Ben Saidi. The festival will showcase screenings of all his short and feature films.

In terms of numbers, last year’s Tetouan Mediterranean Film Festival attracted around 27,200 attendees of all ages. This year, the organizers pledge an enticing program that aims to draw an even larger crowd.
