The Egyptian Catholic Center For Cinema Festival kicks off today!

The Egyptian Catholic Center For Cinema Festival opens its 72nd edition today, Friday, under the presidency of Father Botros Daniel, at the Nile Hall. The event witnesses the attendance of a large number of honored stars and guests. The artist Yasmine Ali will perform at the ceremony with a selection of her songs, in addition to dedicating a special song to Palestine.
The jury panel for this edition consists of several artists and creatives, including the artists Hanan Metawie, Dalia Mostafa, Ahmed Shaker, writer and author Abdelrahim Kamal, director of photography Ihab Mohamed Ali, art critic Ali Al Fateh, editor Kamal Al-Mallaakh, and the composer Mostafa El-Halawani.
six films were selected ,in the festival, out of a total of 43 films commercially released this year: “Ana La Habibi” directed by Hadi Al-Bajouri, “19B” directed by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sayed, “Roubi House” directed by Peter Mimi, “Wesh X Wesh” directed by Walid Al-Halafawi, “Voy! Voy! Voy!” directed by Omar Helal,” A Nose And Three Eyes” directed by Amir Ramsis.
It is worth mentioning that the festival lasts for 7 days and ends on March 1st,2024
