The Luxor African Film Festival represents African identity through the seventh art. For its 13th edition held between 9th and 15th february, 2024. The LAFF showcases 44 films across 4 diverse competitions, Short films competition, long films competition, Diaspora competition, and student films competition.
With two films gracing the screens at LAFF, Tunisian cinema makes a strong showing at this international event with 2 films; “Behind the mountains” by Mohamed Ben Attia competing within the long films competition, and “it’s a small world” by Bilal Bali competing within the short films competition.
When it comes to the jury members at the festival, Tunisian cinema Icons, Mokhtar Ladjimi and Lamia Belkaid Guiga are consecutively members of the long film competition jury and Diaspora competition jury.
