In a pioneering initiative, the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the ‘Netflix Fund for Creative Equity,’ has unveiled a series of workshops entitled ‘Women in Film: Introduction to the Creative Process.’ This visionary program aims to provide an entry point into the world of filmmaking for aspiring women, fostering a new wave of talent in the industry.
A total of 45 young women, carefully selected for their passion and potential, were set to embark on this transformative journey. The comprehensive training program span across vibrant film hubs in Cairo, Dubai, and Jeddah, offering participants a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of filmmaking.
The series culminated in an inspiring visit to the Netflix Production Hub in Madrid, where the participants gained valuable insights into the best practices of the filmmaking industry.
