El Gouna Film Festival: Leadership Team Changes as Intishel Al Tamimi Transition to a new role

Today, the El Gouna Film Festival announced significant changes in its leadership team. Intishel Al Tamimi has transitioned from the position of festival director to a member of the International Advisory Board. Additionally, He will serve as a strategic advisor, continuing his contributions to the artistic aspects of the El Gouna Film Festival.

In addition to that, Andrew Mohsen has been selected to serve as the Head of Programming, while Amr Mansi will continue to lead as the Executive Director, and Marian Khoury will remain in her role as Artistic Director. This move aims to ensure the continuity of success and continuous development of the festival.

In response to these changes, Engineer Samih Sawiris expressed his deep appreciation for Intishel Al Tamimi’s efforts and his effective role in developing the festival, affirming that the new strategy will build upon the festival’s legacy of success.

Amr Mansi, on his part, acknowledged the efforts made by Intishel Al Tamimi in transforming the festival into one of the region’s premier cultural events, expressing his gratitude for their cooperation over the past years.

Regarding his experience as festival director, Intishel Al Tamimi expressed his pride and gratitude for the opportunity to work with the festival team and achieve the successes witnessed during his tenure.

The El Gouna Film Festival remains committed to its mission of promoting cultural exchange and supporting the film industry in the region, looking forward to offering a unique cinematic experience to both local and international audiences in its seventh edition scheduled to be held from October 24th to November 1st, 2024.
