Exceptional edition of the Houston Palestine Film Festival kicks off in May

The Houston Palestinian Film Festival has announced its dates for this edition, from May 17th to May 19th, 2024.
The program includes a total of 12 films, feature and short from Narrative to documentary, All revolving around stories of resilience, hope, resistance, and justice.

× “A house in Jerusalem” by Muayad Alayan
× “The Teacher” by Farah Nabulsi
× “Inshallah A Boy” by Amjad AlRasheed
× “Three Promises” by Yousef Srouji
× “Bye Bye Tiberias” by Lina Soualem
× “The key” by Rakan Mayasi
× “An Orange from Jaffa” by Mohamed Moghni
× “zoo” by Tarek Rimawi
× “Hamza Chasing the ghost Chasing” me by Ward Kayyal
× “Mar Mama” by Majdi Amri
× “Trying To Survive” by Bashar Bleibsi which is an unprecedented screening in the festival and was shot not very long ago In Gaza depicting the misery of a group of artists and the hardships they come across due to the Israeli forces’ Bombings.
This edition is the 17th edition of Houston Palestine Film Festival and it is considered as an exceptional one given the current circumstances of the war on Gaza and for the diverse film lineup it provides.
